Mt. Vernon Outland Airport (MVN) serves the businesses and residents of Jefferson and neighboring Counties. The airport’s modern infrastructure, highlighted by an Instrument Landing System equipped 6500’ by 150’ main runway, makes it an ideal location for numerous aeronautical activities. Cargo, corporate, charter, and recreational flying, as well as fixed wing and helicopter flight training, occurs daily at MVN.

You can feel safe landing or locating at Mt. Vernon Outland Airport!
MVN boasts a joint airport/city fire station as well as an Air-Evac Lifeteam “Super-Base”. Both facilities are staffed 24 hours per day/seven days per week with highly trained personnel and state of the art equipment. Since MVN is a 14CFR Part 139 airport, ARFF Index A classification is maintained at all times. ARFF Index B classification can be arranged with prior notice.

Some of the most experienced turbine and piston engine mechanics in the country are employed by Mt. Vernon Outland Airport’s Fixed Base Operator, SRT Aviation, Incorporated. Full service ground support equipment combined with knowledgeable line service personnel lead to a true “quick-turn” for nearly any size aircraft.
